Stoker Stokes Culture War Against Transgender Community

Stoker stokes culture war against transgender community

Amanda Stoker is stoking the culture war against the transgender community with a controversial petition.

The unelected Queensland senator says she is taking a stand against “dangerous and radical ideas”.

She also describes transgender activists demands for equality as “completely unreasonable”.

Stoker stokes culture war

Stoker’s entry into the divisive culture war is hardly surprising.

She is ambitious and craves attention and regularly features on right-wing nut job favourite Sky News After Dark.

And she’s happy to attract attention by throwing rocks at an already vulnerable and marginalised group in the community.

“Mandy Jane” previously claimed that the minimum wage is too high, and has called for the abolition of penalty rates.

Everyone free to live their lives – except trans people

On her website, Stoker claims that most Australians recognise the freedom of others “to live their life the way they want” –

But then goes on to write:

“But that doesn’t mean we abandon truth. It doesn’t mean we abandon common sense or our understanding of basic biology.

“You do have a right to teach your children they are born as either a boy or a girl and that gender isn’t something we can choose.

“You do have a right to keep women’s sport for women.

“And you do have a right to protect children from hormone treatment and surgical procedures.”

Stoker joins the likes of Mark Latham and Lyle Shelton who have a strange obsession with other people’s genitals.

Stoker’s qualifications in this area are unclear, other than being a conservative Christian.

Her ignorance of issues involving gender and sexuality were highlighted last year when she claimed that being gay was “a choice”.

WHAT IS TRANSGENDER DISCRIMINATION?

Who is Amanda Stoker anyway?

Stoker is 37 and an unelected Queensland senator. She was gifted the seat when George Brandis became UK ambassador.

She previously worked as a barrister and prosecutor.

In her maiden speech, she defended liberty of conscience, thought and speech – expect for transgender activists it would seem.

She previously claimed that the minimum wage is too high, and has called for the abolition of penalty rates.

“Mandy Jane”

The Courier-Mail recently exposed Stoker for using a fake account on social media.

Using the name “Mandy Jane” – Stoker agreed with her supporters and her own political views on controversial topics.

However, she failed to reveal she was the author of the sycophantic messages and a person who felt the need to resort to such a desperate and pathetic tactic.

Stoker at the UQ Liberal National Club Presidents & Alumni Ball last year.

Association with far-right extremists

A group that wants to ban all mosques promoted Stoker as its guest speaker at a function last year.

The Sunshine Coast Safe Communities group opposes mosque developments and frequently airs anti-Islamic views.

Stoker was also guest speaker at the UQ Liberal National Club Presidents & Alumni Ball last year.

The UQ Liberal National Club is the group responsible for recently storming a Brisbane public library to protest a Drag Storytime event.

Club President Wilson Gavin, a gay man himself, led the protest and committed suicide the following morning.

Former club president Kurt Tucker was forced to step down after announcing that he wanted to join the Nazi party.

The LNP dis-endorsed the club at the end of last year because of its extreme views and conduct of its members.
